THE WORK AHEAD
Keeping Andover affordable. Protecting what makes it home.
SERVE OUR COMMUNITY
Our commitment is simple: put residents first.
We will continue building productive partnerships with our local schools to build the best possible educational experience for our children.
Good local government starts by listening and understanding the needs of our residents. We will encourage open communication and meaningful public participation in topic-based workshop sessions to support collective, fact-based dialogue and decision-making.
Residents deserve local government that is accountable, respectful, practical, and focused on serving every resident. We are committed to serving our community over politics because our residents deserve leaders who answer to them, not to outside interests and organizations.
We support our local businesses, volunteers, civic organizations, and community events. Each of these contributes to and strengthens the fabric of Andover Township.
PROTECT OUR FAMILIES
Safe Communities Don't Happen by Accident.
We fully support our Police, Fire, EMS, emergency services, and local dispatch with the resources, planning, and responsible leadership they need to protect our community.
Public safety is also about the everyday issues that affect families, seniors, roads, utilities, and property. We support emergency preparedness, safe neighborhoods, and practical action so that our residents and their families feel secure throughout our community.
Roads, DPW, parks and recreation, court, facilities, and other municipal services are part of what makes Andover Township work. We will protect the services residents rely on while making sure they remain responsible and sustainable.
PRESERVE OUR HOMETOWN
Growth should never come at the expense of our identity.
We will protect the very heart of Andover Township by preserving the character, connections, community relationships and small-town values that have defined Andover Township for generations.
Preservation means making thoughtful land-use decisions in partnership with our residents, so progress strengthens the Township without transforming it into somewhere else. It’s critical that we support sensible, well-planned development such as deed-restricted senior housing and updated outdoor spaces that strengthen the community so that future generations can enjoy the same hometown we cherish today.
Andover needs ratables, but not every revenue opportunity belongs here. We will work alongside our residents to embrace the right development in the right places, with careful attention to environmental resources, surrounding properties, community character, and long-term impact.
Leadership means listening when residents raise serious concerns. The data-center experience reinforced an important principle: explore opportunities carefully, communicate earlier, respond to the people we serve, and change course when a proposal is not right for Andover.
BUILD A STRONG FUTURE
Strong communities are built through careful planning and responsible decision-making.
We will continue to invest wisely in roads, infrastructure, parks and community services that improve everyday life and prepare Andover Township for the future.
We will continue looking for responsible opportunities to return distressed or underperforming properties to productive use. Concepts such as deed-restricted senior housing can be considered when they fit the needs of Andover Township residents and support the tax base.
We will continue to seek practical solutions, including shared services and partnerships, that strengthen capacity, control costs, and allow us to invest responsibly in the essential services residents depend on every day.
